Color your Cabin

Colors can give clues about the world around us and about feelings and emotions: silent, calm, excitement, happiness, sadness.

What do colors make you think of?

If the sky is blue we know that it is clear and sunny.

If the sky is grey, what do we know? Can the sky ever be red? What would that mean?

What do you feel like when you're "feeling blue"?

What color comes to mind when you hear the words sad? hot? winter? loud? Christmas? night? autumn?

As you color your cabin think about how color can express feelings.

What color would you paint your cabin if you always wanted to be happy?

Would you paint it sunny yellow or grey? How would a black or dark blue cabin make you feel?

What about a multicolored or even polka-dot cabin?

Take time to experiment.
