"There are several that come to my mind. The Stella one recently [Frank Stella's Severinda (1995), on view in the Walker's exhibition Frank Stella at Tyler Graphics], the fact that he made two-dimensional painting into three dimension--that curve, that whatever he made. It's just when you walk in; your heart just pounds. It's the delight of seeing something that you could never imagine, that he's opening your imaginative eye, so to speak. And to me that's made me as if I'm taking in more of life than I had before. That moment of pleasure."
