Hachivi Edgar Heap of Birds Building Minnesota This work alludes to the 40 Dakota men executed for their role in the U.S.-Dakota Conflict of 1862. It was originally commissioned by Walker Art Center and installed as a site-specific work along the Mississippi River in downtown Minneapolis.
