Explore the exhibition Y E S YOKO ONO on a gallery tour, feel the rhythms of Spanish songs at a flamenco performance, and check out some playful and poetic springtime films. PERFORMANCE: ZORONGO FLAMENCO DANCE THEATRE
Discover flamenco music and dance from Spain! Expressive and joyous, the musical tradition of flamenco is multicultural with Arabic, Jewish, Gypsy, and Spanish roots. Under the direction of choreographer Susana di Palma, Zorongo joins families for interactive percussion plays using hand clapping (palmas), feet rhythms (taconeo), cajon (a box instrument), and castanets. Join us for this special treat featuring flamenco singer Manolo Segura, gypsy guitarist Pedro Cortes, and dancers di Palma and supporting ensemble. Auditorium.
