Celebrate spring during this artful, musical day for families. Explore the exhibition Y E S YOKO ONO on a gallery tour, feel the rhythms of Spanish songs at a flamenco performance, and check out some playful and poetic springtime films. All activities are free and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

PERFORMANCE: ZORONGO FLAMENCO DANCE THEATRE
Discover flamenco music and dance from Spain! Expressive and joyous, the musical tradition of flamenco is multicultural with Arabic, Jewish, Gypsy, and Spanish roots. Under the direction of choreographer Susana di Palma, Zorongo joins families for interactive percussion plays using hand clapping (palmas), feet rhythms (taconeo), cajon (a box instrument), and castanets. Join us for this special treat featuring flamenco singer Manolo Segura, gypsy guitarist Pedro Cortes, and dancers di Palma and supporting ensemble. Auditorium.

FILMS: RHYTHMS AND RHYMES
Sing along to animated versions of two Maurice Sendak favorites, Really Rosie and Alligators All Around, then stay tuned for a beguiling mix of classic and contemporary children's poems, all directed by Michael Sporn. 45 minutes. Lecture Room.

ART-MAKING FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY: SHAKE SHAKE SHAKE
Make your own shakable musical instruments covered with colorful images of dancers and Spain. Take these shakers home to make flamenco music with your family. Led by artist Janis Lane-Ewart. Art Lab.
