TWIN CITIES PREMIERE INTRODUCED BY ERROL MORRIS

Fred A. Leuchter, Jr.
| In
his latest work, Morris focuses on a man with a history of hatred and destruction:
Fred A. Leuchter, Jr., an "execution technologist" who became a major figure
in the neo-Nazi movement. Ernst Zundel commissioned Leuchter, a designer
of prison execution equipment from electric chairs to lethal injection machines,
to research the use of poison gas by the Nazis during World War II. Leuchter
published the results of his tests in the now-infamous Leuchter Report,
concluding that because there was no evidence of poison gas at the concentration
camps, the holocaust was merely a myth. Morris examines Leuchter's motivations
and seeks the origins of evil in this intense yet humorous film. Check out the film's official website at http://www.mrdeath.net. 1999, U.S.,
120 minutes.
