THE ROAD TO GUATEMALA
Chris Barry follows entrepreneur David Moot and his crew on a grueling Minneapolis-to-Guatemala bus trip. Leading a caravan of used school buses filled with sewing machines, typewriters, bicycles, electronics, and anything else that can be considered precious in Guatemala, Moot battles 3,000 miles of mechanical breakdowns, literal highway robbery, heat, dust, and interpersonal tensions to bring his wares to market. 1997, Minnesota, Beta SP, 86 minutes. |
