Gerstler is a writer of fiction, poetry, and journalism whose work has appeared in a range of publications, including Artforum and The Los Angeles Times. Her artistic collaborations include projects with visual artists and choreographers on installations, artist's books, and performances. Weissman's sculptures and drawings have recently appeared at the Kunsthalle in Vienna and at Ursula Krinzinge. In 1997 he collaborated with artist Paul McCarthy on a project at the Christopher Grimes Gallery in Santa Monica. Weissman writes on a range of cultural subjects, and his work has appeared in publications such as Artforum, The Los Angeles Times Book Review, The Voice Literary Supplement, and Frieze.
