BETTER LOOKING: PERFORMATIVE ELEMENTS IN VISUAL ART, 6:30 PM
From photographs of street performances to temporary water paintings,
performative elements are used by many artists in the exhibition How
Latitudes Become Forms: Art in a Global Age to create works of
visual art. Explore these practices on a tour of the galleries with Walker
Associate Curator Douglas Fogle. Meet in the lobby.

WARE: DISTRIBUTIVE JUSTICE, 7 PM, LECTURE ROOM
For this talk, Croatian artist Andreja Kuluncic presents Distributive
Justice, a multidisciplinary Web-based work involving artists, writers,
and philosophers. Most recently exhibited at documenta XI (2002),
the project is a continually developing exploration of social values.

members in the September 11 terrorist attacks as they travel to Kabul,
