"Brilliant," "delicious," and "otherworldly" have been used to describe the work of Office dA, a Boston-based firm renowned for its attention to detail and consummate craftsmanship. Monica Ponce de Leon and Nader Tehrani, principals of Office dA, have created projects ranging from single-family residences to prominent public structures such as the Zahedi Tomb in Pully, Switzerland. The Multifaith Spiritual Center at Northeastern University in Boston, which they designed, received a 1999 International Illumination Design Award from the Illumination Engineering Society of North America. Ponce de Leon is also the recipient of a 1999 Progressive Architecture Award.
