Performing Arts LIZ LERMAN DANCE EXCHANGE IN RESIDENCE "ALL CALL" INTERACTIVE WORKSHOP FOR ALL AGES AND EXPERIENCE LEVELS THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 22, 2001 7-9 PM FREE SPACE IS LIMITED AND RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED. JAMES SEWELL BALLET STUDIO, HENNEPIN CENTER FOR THE ARTS 528 HENNEPIN AVENUE SOUTH, MINNEAPOLIS

All Call! Everyone--all ages, all levels of art experience--is invited to attend this workshop. Participants will be asked to share stories about themselves and their community and to begin creating movement and performance works that may be used in Hallelujah/Minneapolis. These ideas will result in works that may involve dance, theater, storytelling, music, poetry, visual arts, or any other expressive form, and may provide material for the community section of the final performance in the Garden on June 17. The final half hour of the workshop will be an informal sharing of the works created over the course of the evening. The workshop is open both to those who may want to participate in the final performance and to those who may just want a remarkable one-time experience with the Liz Lerman Dance Exchange.
