The focus will be on 20th-century and contemporary art, architecture, and design. Participants will be invited to attend the art forum preview and related events. Other highlights will include tours of the new Jewish Museum designed by Daniel Libeskind, and the Reichstag dome designed by Sir Norman Foster.

Contemporary Arts Forum Participants examine and discuss works of art in the context of the historical, social, and philosophical developments that influenced their creation. Each Contemporary Arts Forum group is scheduled for five two-hour sessions coinciding with the Walker's exhibition calendar. Offered weekday mornings, afternoons, or evenings, each session begins with a tour of a special exhibition, followed by discussion or a related short activity or videotape. A Walker tour guide, trained expressly for this program, is assigned to each group for the entire year. Refreshments and informal discussion follow each session. How to Register |
