A UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY TO ENJOY CONTEMPORARY ART WITH CONTEMPORARY PEOPLE, NOT TO MENTION HORS D'OEUVRES, A CASH BAR, AND THE MARTINI OF THE MONTH.
Come see the global and provocative nature of contemporary art in the Walker's new permanent collection exhibition. Beginning with works from the 1950s and continuing to the present, the exhibition Art in Our Time: 1950 to the Present traces the movement of the avant-garde from Europe to America and all corners of the world. This evening's entertainment includes Brazilian jazz by the Esther Godinez Band and 20th-century works by the Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra ensemble, gallery tours, and collage-making with maps in the Art Lab. The Martini of the Month is Global Infusion. This month also marks the second anniversary of Walker After Hours, so be sure to pick up a free copy of our Martini of the Month secret recipe list (24 different varieties).
