Directed by Barbara Albert
This gritty tale is about young refugees from Eastern Europe who face their uncertain futures on the northern outskirts of Vienna. A portrait of lost youth, the film chronicles the difficulties faced by the working class. Its intersecting stories show the realities amidst a glimmer of hope for people confronted with the dramatic economic and geographic changes in Europe. 1999, Austria/Germany/Switzerland, in German with English subtitles, 35mm, 103 minutes.

WOMEN WITH VISION: CROSSING BOUNDARIES IS MADE POSSIBLE BY GENEROUS SUPPORT FROM THE MINNESOTA WOMEN'S FOUNDATION AND THE BUSH FOUNDATION, WITH ADDITIONAL SUPPORT FROM THE MINNESOTA FILM BOARD.
