From video games to the notion of author, from motion capture to sound and music diffusion, from magazines to hyperessays, the uses of digital technologies are rapidly redefining and blurring any remaining boundaries between “art” and “culture.” This interdisciplinary panel will look at the way “new technology” has affected the creative process, starting with the basic questions: Is technology a tool? Is technology a medium?
