Acclaimed French-Canadian theater innovator Robert Lepage conjures a dreamlike and unforgettable journey based on the life of visionary architect Frank Lloyd Wright. Seamlessly melding film, acting, projections, dance, lighting, scenery, and music, he fills Geometry of Miracles with "imagery so intense it can take your breath away" (Globe and Mail, Toronto). The work explores Wright's fascination with the spiritual teachings of Russian mystic George Gurdjieff; the delicate relationship between master and disciple; and the innate connections between architecture and choreography, mathematics and music. Cinematic in style, epic in scope, this debut of Lepage's work in the Twin Cities is not to be missed. "The audience was entertained as much as it was enthralled" (Singapore Strait Times). Performance contains nudity. Co-commissioned and copresented by the Walker, the Guthrie Theater, and Northrop Auditorium.

As far-reaching creatively as it is geographically, the Outer Reaches series explores (and explodes) the leading edge of performing art with five wondrous, experimental productions from Japan, England, Quebec, and the United States, and the world premiere of a music-theater collaboration between master artists from China, Japan, and Korea.
