"Rudolf Steiner (1861-1925) founded anthroposophy, a mixture of Rosicrucian, theosophical, Christian, and occult traditions, synthesized in a very individual way. Steiner was a seer, and much of his insight was derived from clairvoyant perception. Many of his teachings were given in the form of lectures, later published in book-form by his followers."[18]

According to the Rudolf Steiner Archive and e.Lib Web site, "His multi-faceted genius has led to innovative and holistic approaches in medicine, science, education (Waldorf schools), special education, philosophy, religion, economics, agriculture (Bio-Dynamic method), architecture, drama, the new art of eurythmy, and other fields. In 1925 he founded the General Anthroposophical Society, which today has branches throughout the world." [30]
