A fast-moving roller-coaster ride of stories and human emotions, this documentary chronicles events in the life of Mark "Gator" Rogowski, one of the 1980s' most celebrated professional skateboarders. From Rogowski's tales told from his jail cell, where he is serving time for murder, to interviews with many skating greats (Tony Hawk, Lance Mountain), the film tells of Gator's rise to fame and fall from grace. Stoked is Helen Stickler's (Andre the Giant Has a Posse) first feature-length film. 2003, U.S., color/BW, video, 91 minutes.
