"I know that my dad's parents used to own a big flour mill in Denmark, and then they came over to America. I know kind of little tidbits. My dad has this folder on history and its got pictures--it has a big timeline of my mom's side of the family--its got pictures of my dad's old history. Its got a picture of a big flour mill that our family used to own in Denmark. Both of my parents come from Scandinavia. They came to America probably, I don't know, because of the free land, probably its reputation and posters all over Europe. I hear that they had big posters, like 'The Free Land.' And land was really cheap so you could buy a bunch of land and a farm for ten dollars, maybe."
