Take a trip through the galleries to learn about the artwork in the exhibition Edward Ruscha: Editions 1959-1999. Hear the charming adventures of a boy and his dad during a writer's reading, then enjoy a rich sampling of films that map a journey of sites and sounds. Participate in an art activity to tell a tale of your own ideal road trip. All activities are free and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

WRITER'S READING: NIGHT DRIVING
Gas stations, cafes, and truck stops come to life as you hear this popular children's story that celebrates the relationship between a father and his son. Local author John Coy's reading is accompanied by the sweet folk music of John Casey, Jim Anton, and Eric Christopher. Auditorium. A book-signing with the author follows the performance.

12 NOON-4 PM
ART-MAKING FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY: GOING PLACES
Make fold-out books that tell a tale of places you'd like to go. Led by Jill Weese. Outer Lobby.

12 NOON AND 2 PM
FILM PROGRAM: THIS LAND IS YOUR LAND
This program of short, freewheeling films about the adventures of travel will take you from here to there. 25 minutes. Lecture Room.
