"I'm Kjell and I go to school at Barton. I'm eleven years old. I live in Southwest Minneapolis. I've been at Barton since kindergarten, so it would be five years or six years. I like phys ed, or gym, because it's really active most of the time. Soccer is a game I've played since kindergarten. I started with the Fuller Soccer Club in Southwest Minneapolis, and now I play United on the Arrows, which most of the team is at my school now.
"It's been a long time--I came here [the Walker Art Center], I think, a few times when I was really young and I've been here with school. . . . Different kids will think different things, like sometimes the girls will like expressive pieces and the boys will like really big pieces. I like the big ones that are made out of, like, iron and steel and brass because they're 3-D and I like sculptures. I'm kind of a bodily learner; I don't like things on paper that much."
