Since Hallelujah/Minneapolis is a work-in-progress, there are many different levels of involvement from which you can choose. Come learn about Lerman's philosophy of creating performance work with community, her artistic vision and process, and practical ideas for the residency. Discover whether you would like to be an "ambassador," acting as a teacher and liaison between Lerman's company and select community groups this spring to create material for Hallelujah/Minneapolis. Determine how you or your community group or organization could be involved in upcoming residencies and performances. Brainstorm with the group about how the residency might work for you! Come experience firsthand some of the steps of the Liz Lerman Dance Exchange creative process. This Introductory Workshop is open to all artists and community leaders interested in learning about and possibly participating in Liz Lerman's Hallelujah/Minneapolis project.
