Billed as the most disgusting film ever made, Pink Flamingos became the runaway underground hit equivalent of Titanic. Divine's Babs Johnson claims to be the Filthiest Person Alive, but her arch rivals Connie and Raymond Marble (Mink Stole and David Lochary) set out to prove her wrong. Whereas the Marbles merely impregnate hostages, Babs shoplifts steaks and condones first-degree murder. After witnessing a love scene involving live poultry and Edith Massey's star-making turn as the egg-obsessed mother, viewers will never think of chickens the same way again. Featuring bonus commentary footage by Waters. 1972, U.S., 108 minutes. Check out the official Pink Flamingos Web site.

THE WALKER'S PRESENTATION OF JOHN WATERS: SHOCK VALUE IS MADE POSSIBLE WITH GENEROUS SUPPORT FROM THE REGIS FOUNDATION.
