This sequel picks up where At Midnight left off--literally--by beginning with the conclusion of the prior film. Coffin Joe continues his search for the perfect woman to give birth to his wicked seed, but this time Marins tops himself with even more stunning visuals. With only enough money to buy one reel of color film, the filmmaker jumped from black and white to full color as Joe climactically finds himself in an icy hell in a confrontation with the devil himself (also played by Marins).
