Members of Blu Dot Design, with local designers Emily McLennan
and Thomas Oliphant, will be on hand to discuss and sign copies of the
book Contemporary American Furniture. They are the Minneapolis-based
designers featured in this new publication of works by more than 70 of
today's most promising furniture designers. Universe Publishers, 2000.

Take a tour of The Cities Collect, an exhibition that
celebrates the important role collectors have played in the creative life
of our community. On view are paintings, sculptures, prints, photographs,
and drawings from more than 60 metro-area collections of modern and contemporary
