There are collectors and there are collectors. Lucky for you, we'll be exploring both types at this free Open House for Students. From culture jammers who stockpile tidbits of consumer culture and rework them for subversive ends to art lovers who carefully select new pieces for their collections at home, here's your chance to examine collecting in many of its weird and/or wonderful forms.

Craig Baldwin is a film pack rat. He collects discarded movie leaders, obscure filmstrips, and kinescopes of '50s TV shows--then edits them together into scathing critiques of media culture. Listen as he gives an overview of the culture-jamming movement. Auditorium.
