Deann Borshay's debut film First Person Plural explores the personal history of the director as an accidental immigrant from Korea to the United States. The film is followed by a live performance of Sun Mee, You American Girl, a hilarious monologue about growing up as a Korean adoptee, by former Theater Mu actress Sun Mee Chomet. After the performance, Liem and Chomet will discuss the role of the arts in their exploration of adoption, assimilation, and identity. The dialogue is moderated by local community organizer-activist Sundraya Kase. More information about Women with Vision.
