In addition to being a place for visitors to read, watch, talk, listen, relax, and research, the Andersen Window Gallery is used for meetings and public programs organized by the Walker and by other community and neighborhood organizations. Information on the art and artists in the Walker's current permanent collection exhibition, Art in Our Time: 1950 to the Present, is available in the space, as well as material focusing on the projects currently being developed by multidisciplinary artists-in-residence in collaboration with local communities.
