On the first Saturday of every month, the Walker Art Center presents free family programming. All activities are free and available on a first-come, first-served basis. For more information, call 612.375.7622.

Celebrate the American landscape through folk music and films that take you across the country. Create your own artful landscape, and venture into the exhibition American Tableaux together.

ON STAGE: FROM SEA TO SHINING SEA
The USA is something to sing about! This festive musical extravaganza led by Ross Sutter and friends includes traditional and contemporary American folk songs on trombone, fiddle, and piano. Be prepared for a whole lot of fun. Auditorium.

12 NOON-4 PM
ART-MAKING FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY: LAND THAT I LOVE
Make collages using the shapes and patterns you find in the Brooklyn Bridge after imagining yourself walking across the famous landmark. This colorful creation will be yours to take home and display. Led by artist Donna Bruni. Art Lab.

12 NOON AND 2 PM
THE BIG SCREEN: COME ON ALONG!
Travel the country to see bridges, skyscrapers, mountaintops, swamplands, and other natural wonders without feeling a single bump in the road. These beautiful films show us the America we know and love. 34 minutes. Lecture Room.
