Intermedia Arts Thursday, November 4, 6:30 pm Celebrate the opening of Electronic Rituals--a 2-D and multimedia exhibition in the Intermedia Arts Cafe Gallery, curated by Chicago artist Joan Truckenbrod--and the formal launching of Leonardo Electronic Almanac's Pioneer Profiles archive project. The evening includes a presentation of the Jerome-commissioned works Nolemon/Nomelon, a multimedia creation by composer-artist Carei Thomas' collaborative team (including Grady Appleton, Steve Goldstein, and Stefan Kren), and an industrial video by New York-based Annie Gosfield. The artists will be present to discuss the works. Meet the artists, check out the installations, and imbibe. The exhibition is on view through December 12.
