Studio Works is an architecture, planning, and interdisciplinary design
group based in Los Angeles. "To make the most out of the least" has become
a doctrine underlying all of the firm's work. Established in 1969, the
group is commited to producing work focusing on architecture that is economical
and design that crosses the disciplines of architecture and landscape,
urban, graphic, and product design.
Principals Robert Mangurian and Mary-Ann Ray eschew costly design while
simultaneously undertaking projects recognized for their high quality
and inventiveness. Studio Works projects have been published in numerous
national and international journals and books, and many of their groundbreaking
designs have received national design awards, including four Progressive
Architecture awards between 1998 and 2000.
AIA is a registered AIA/CES provider. AIA attendees will receive
1.5 hours of continuing education for each lecture. For more
information, call Deanna Christiansen at 612.338.6763.
