Minneapolis Sculpture Garden Tours

Garden Audio Tour
A self-guided audio tour of the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden is available free of charge to rent. Unlike most audio tours which follow a predetermined path, the Walker's audio-tour system allows visitors to create their own route. In addition, each spot on the tour offers three different channels of information: one devoted to general information about individual sculptures and the Garden in general; another which allows visitors to hear artists speak about their work; and a third that plays a song written by a local musician inspired by the sculpture.

Guided Garden Tours
Free guided tours of the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden are given on weekends at 1 pm, from May through October. No reservations are needed; meet in the Walker lobby.


Special Needs

Gallery Group Tours
Available for visitors with physical or mental disabilities. Touch tours of selected permanent collection works are available for people with visual disabilities. Call 612.375.7609, Tuesday - Friday, 8 am - 4 pm. Please call at least three weeks in advance.

Hearing Augmentation Devices
Available for events in the Auditorium and Lecture Room. Headsets can be borrowed from the lobby desk free of charge.

Signed Interpretation
Available for any Walker event. Please call the box office at 612.375.7622 three weeks in advance of the event.
