In 1984, the U.S. government labeled writer Margaret Randall an "anti-American" danger to society and ordered her deportation. She fought the charges in court and won. The author of more than 75 books of poetry, oral history, and leftist diatribes, she put her politics before all else. This documentary illuminates the ironies in the life of a woman who stormed through half a century and never looked back. 2001, U.S., color, video, 59 minutes. A discussion follows the screening.
