"FAREWELL FOR NOW" PUBLIC TOUR
SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 14, 2 PM FREE WITH GALLERY ADMISSION
Don't miss your final opportunity for a tour before the Walker closes for one year. Join a tour guide for a walk through the galleries, a look at some of your favorite artworks, and a chance to say good-bye for now.

BECOME A WALKER ART CENTER TOUR GUIDE

Although the building is closing this month, we're gearing up for tours in the expanded Walker, scheduled to open February 2005. Would you like to be a part of the excitement? Are you passionate about contemporary art, and about bringing that art to life? Become a Walker tour guide and provide educational and entertaining experiences for youths and adults in the Walker's spectacular new building. The six-month training class begins in October 2004. A background in art, art history, or education is helpful, but not required. For more information or an application, visit learn.walkerart.org, e-mail tours@walkerart.org, or call 612.375.7574.

TOURING THE TOWN: BRING THE WALKER TO YOUR ORGANIZATION
Walker tour guides have hit the road with two new programs for metro-area students and community organizations. To bring a tour guide to your organization or school to speak about the Walker's expansion or permanent collection, visit learn.walkerart.org/tour.wac, e-mail education.resources@walkerart.org, or call 612.375.7609.
