is the author of many books including the
novels Sexual Blood (1995) and The Kafka Chronicles (1993). In 1993, he
started The Alt-X Online Publishing Network (http://www.altx.com). In
June of 1997 he launched the GRAMMATRON hypermedia narrative project
(http://www.grammatron.com).
Simon Biggs.
Born in1957 Adelaide, Australia. Brought up by the sea in the country nearby, where main interest was surfing. Working as an artist since 1976.
Started to use computers to make images in 1978. With father (a computer scientist) developed early graphics dedicated computer system in
1979. Started to produce computer animations in 1980. Since 1983 focus has been on computer based interactive installation, animation and
related media. Has lived and worked in London, England, since 1986.
Patrick Maun.
Patrick Maun creates work that explores the interplay between technology
and society, authenticity and power, communications and history. His
installation, sound and video works have received international attention. In
addition to his artistic work, Patrick is curator and designer of the MIT
Press journal Leonardo Electronic Almanac, and is on faculty at the College
of Visual Arts in Minnesota. He also has a day job as a designer for
maverick ad agency Fallon McElligott in Minneapolis.
