WALKER AFTER HOURS IS A UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY TO ENJOY CONTEMPORARY ART WITH CONTEMPORARY PEOPLE, NOT TO MENTION HORS D'OEUVRES, A CASH BAR, AND THE MARTINI OF THE MONTH.

It's organic. It's aerodynamic. It's art in the atomic age. Join us for highballs and hijinks in celebration of the opening of Vital Forms: American Art and Design in the Atomic Age, 1940-1960. From Slinky to Saarinen, this is one preview party you won't want to miss! Enjoy short films by Charles and Ray Eames, complimentary hors d'oeuvres, cash bars, and the Martini of the Month, the Swizzle, while you swing to live jazz by the Charmin Michelle Trio. Prefer heavy metal? Show off your skill at Slinky races on the center stairs. Don't forget the Tupperware party and the "Hula Hoop Experience" when making your rounds. Plus, be among the first to view the new exhibition Walk Around Time: Selections from the Permanent Collection, also opening this evening.

We expect the party to sell out. Order your tickets today! Free tickets for new Walker members. Receive one free ticket when you join. Call 612.375.7622, fax 612.375.7595, or visit www.walkerart.org/tickets/. !
