WALKER AFTER HOURS IS A UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY TO ENJOY CONTEMPORARY ART WITH CONTEMPORARY PEOPLE, NOT TO MENTION HORS D'OEUVRES, A CASH BAR, AND THE MARTINI OF THE MONTH.

The Sights: Be the first to see the Walker's latest exhibition, One Planet under a Groove, exploring the influence of hip-hop culture on contemporary art.

The Sounds: Hear Stones Throw Records founder Peanut Butter Wolf weave his way through the history of hip-hop.

The Spectacle: Let KMOJ's DJ Q-Bear test your diction and delivery with hip-hop karaoke, sit down with DJ QBert's animated Wave Twisters: The Movie, or see a museumwide performance featuring break dancing, spoken word, and rhythm and rhyme by hip-hop arts collective Nubia.

The Splash: Electric Relaxation is the Martini of the Month; the Head Spin is our non-alcoholic alternative.

Receive one free ticket when you become a Walker member. Purchasing tickets early is recommended. For tickets or more information, call the box office at 612.375.7622.

WALKER AFTER HOURS: MADE FROM SCRATCH IS ORGANIZED BY THE WALKER ART CENTER TEEN ARTS COUNCIL (WACTAC).
