Robin Marks -- Instructor

Robin is a freelance public radio reporter, all-purpose geek, and owner of Bite Back Productions, a broadcast and multimedia production company. She has taught media production and international affairs to teens in the Seattle public schools, and was a youth instructor in broadcast writing and audio production for Jack Straw Studios in Seattle. Her web projects include sites for the PBS-supported Weblab, Minnesota Public Radio, American Radio Works, and KUOW Radio in Seattle. She has reported for National Public Radio and several of its affiliate stations, Public Radio International, and Reuters News Agency Ltd. She speaks a very few words of very many languages, likes her music loud, and has a deeply spiritual relationship with her bicycle.

Nicole Erdman -- Production Assistant

Nicole works in a variety of media -- film, photography, animation, multimedia and web design. Popular rumour says she can work an After Effects file faster than anyone on the planet. Nicole is also a residency artist, teaching art to kids at all grade levels. She has funky shoes, wild hair and thrives on california rolls.

Edith Garcia -- Teen Programs Coordinator

Edith was born in El Paso, Texas, and wound up in Minnesota because her car would only drive due north. She has administered many amazing teen programs for the Walker Art Center. She had a dazzling array of great accomplishments under her belt before joining the WAC staff, but being secretive, she hasn't told us the exact nature of them. Edith also creates ceramic sculpture that is so good people actually buy it as art. She has fine taste in junk food and her tattoos are the envy of the Walker Teen Arts Council.

If you'd like more information on joining a Teen Program like Cyber Chicas at the Walker, call Edith at (612) 375-7683. If she's not there, leave a message. If you don't leave a message, she won't know you called.

Also thanks to:
Andrew Korf and Jim McDonagh for programming on the Girl Parts page and to
Jake Mandell for the soundtrack to the Cyber Chicas animated intro.
