Look behind the scenes at the creation of the company's latest work in this special performance sampler. You Walk? is a three-part evening-length work that embraces metaphorical notions of travel, the aura of longing, and the intrinsic poetry of motion. Committed to the freest possible movement and visual language, the sequences suggest the ideas of to, from, and away, featuring a sweeping range of music--traditional sounds of the Americas to Portuguese fado to 20th-century compositions. The Walker and Northrop Auditorium will copresent the full performance in March 2001.
