TULIP SWEET AND HER TRAIL OF TEARS
FOLLOWED BY SPECIAL GUEST DJ DYLAN HICKS
Camp out in Tulip Sweet's curious cabaret of dreams and
desires filled with ironically playful and erotically charged vaudevillian
new wave and beer-soaked lullabies. Sweet's (former Bean Girl icon
Steph Dickson) band of vagabonds features the Odd's frontman Tom Siler
(casio), Ten Ton Bridge drummer Dave Wiegardt, and Larmes de Colere
saw player Andy McCormick (bass). |

MON ONCLE
DIRECTED
BY JACQUES TATI
Mr. Hulot moves in to his sister's ultra-modern house and encounters
an endless array of novel new gadgets. Tati's film, which won the
Best Foreign Film Academy Award, is nearly dialogue-free and relies
on sight gags reminiscent of the classic silent comedies. 1956, France,
in French with English subtitles, 114 minutes. |
