WALKER AFTER HOURS IS A UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY TO ENJOY CONTEMPORARY ART WITH CONTEMPORARY PEOPLE, NOT TO MENTION HORS D'OEUVRES, A CASH BAR, AND THE MARTINI OF THE MONTH.

A house that fits in your hand? A table that knows where it is? A coat that becomes a tent? A party that fits in a box? Sound strange? Then see for yourself at the opening of Strangely Familiar: Design and Everyday Life, the Walker's newest exhibition. Shaping the musical soundscape will be the live drums and bass of Poor Line Condition. Making Do, the design activity, will test your creativity. The future-retro film CQ will fill your field of vision. Complimentary hors d'oeuvres, cash bars, and the Martini of the Month: "Hello, Stranger!", will be served.

Purchasing tickets early is recommended. Receive one free After Hours ticket when you join. Call 612.375.7622, fax: 612.375.7595, or visit www.walkerart.org/tickets/.
