HOUS-[E, ES, ING] Architecture Studio is a unique collaboration between the Walker Art Center and the College of Architecture and Landscape Architecture (CALA) at the University of Minnesota. This in-gallery studio is both an interactive exhibition to explore and a place where students and faculty from the University's Department of Architecture will be meeting and working throughout the summer. The integration of exhibition and production, of gallery and work space, of observation and interaction provides rich oppor- tunities to see, hear, and participate in the architectural design process.
Your input is welcome and will contribute greatly to the success of this experimental Studio project. The students' working process in the form of drawings, models, and written notes is on view for you to explore in the gallery. On the Web site this information will be recorded in student journals. We also encourage you to go to the Studio Forum and Join the Discussions that may be happening there.
