Best known for her Big Miss Moviola all-woman video chain-letter compilation, Miranda July is also closely associated with the punk scene, releasing records on the Kill Rock Stars label as well as touring the country with her multimedia two-act performance Love Diamond. July will present an excerpt from The Swan Tool, her hybrid of spoken word, music, and theater that some say truly deserves the label "performance art."
