Minneapolis Sculpture Garden

The vine-covered arbor and flower garden, loving gifts of the N. Bud Grossman family, commemorate the ideals, achievements, and memory of Alene Lorberbaum Grossman (1922-1988), who harbored a deep love of natural beauty and spent much of her life working for the public good.

Minneapolis Sculpture Garden

FlatPak House (2005/2008) is a one-room version of a larger prefabricated house designed by the Minneapolis-based Lazor Office. A modern wood and glass structure located just behind the Cowles Conservatory, it is not only a work of art, but also functions as an orientation and activity space where visitors can obtain information about the Garden’s sculptures and join art-making classes and workshops.
