Gallery admission is free for everyone on the first Saturday of each month from 10 am to 5 pm, with a variety of family activities scheduled from 10 am to 3 pm.
Dance Workshop: Gallery Tour on the Move, 11:30 am, 12:30 and 1:30 pm
Participate in a movement tour of the exhibition Dance Works III: Merce Cunningham / Rei Kawakubo. No prior dance experience needed, just an eagerness to have fun. The program begins with a short gallery tour, followed by a movement activity involving wearable lumps and bumps. Please wear comfortable clothes and come prepared to move. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Recommended for ages 12 and under. Led by Cunningham Research Fellow Abigail Sebaly.

Simple black-and-white illustrations animate this mythological Sami tale about life, love, loss, and a transcendent connection through dance. The Sami are the indigenous Scandinavian people of the Arctic Circle. Directed by Tuva Synnevåg, 2009, 9 minutes.
