Free First Saturday: Painters’ Paradise

Join us for a day inspired by the new exhibition Painter Painter featuring special guests, art-making, and kid-focused tours. Step into the studio and find out more about the creative art of painting during this amazing day of free family fun.

Gallery admission is free for everyone on the first Saturday of each month from 10 am to 5 pm, with a variety of family activities scheduled from 10 am to 3 pm.

Art-Making: Artists’ Studio, 10 am–3 pm

Star Tribune Foundation Art Lab

Find out how today’s artists approach the medium of paint by joining a rotating lineup of painters in the Art Lab. Grab a paint brush and canvas to create your own masterpiece.

Local artists scheduled to appear include: Betsy Byers, Tara Costello, Kate Farstad, Joonja Lee Mornes, Jehra Patrick, and Eric Syvertson.

Lecture Room
