Thursday evenings at Gather by D’Amico feature $5 small plates and drink specials, and limited-edition dishes from a roster of stellar guest chefs who share tastings each month.
In November, join chef-in-residence Paul Berglund of the Bachelor Farmer, who shares tastes from his small plates menu, created exclusively for Gather and featured throughout the month.
About the Chef
Born in the Midwest, Berglund attended the University of Michigan before serving as an officer in the US Navy. He then began his cooking career at the acclaimed Oliveto restaurant in Oakland, California, where he gained a deep-rooted appreciation for simple and honest cooking. Berglund and his wife relocated to Minneapolis in 2010. After a year spent learning the fundamentals of baking, he returned to cooking and reconnected with his Nordic heritage as the Bachelor Farmer’s chef. Under Berglund’s leadership, the Bachelor Farmer was a James Beard semifinalist for Best New Restaurant in America, and one of Bon Appetit magazine’s 10 best new restaurants in 2012. The Bachelor Farmer was awarded four stars by the Star Tribune.
