Teen Art Lounge with Abraham Cruzvillegas

Part of Abraham Cruzvillegas: The Autoconstrucción Suites

Teen Art Lounge is a monthly night for young artists to hang out, make art, meet other artists, and learn new techniques and processes with other teens at the Walker. Intended for ages 13 to 18, activities are drop-in and occur every third Thursday of the month. Gallery admission is always free for teens, thanks to Wells Fargo.

March Guest Artist: Abraham Cruzvillegas

Join Abraham Cruzvillegas, whose practice of autoconstrucción (self-construction) gives new life to everyday materials and found objects. More than a method or technique, he calls it “a way of thinking—a way of life.” A major survey of the Mexico City–based artist’s work opens at the Walker March 23.
