Walker Dialogues: A History

This Walker-produced documentary is perfect preparation for the upcoming 25th anniversary of the Walker Art Center’s long-running Dialogue and Retrospective Program (formerly known as Regis Dialogues). From its beginnings with Clint Eastwood (1990) to a recent dialogue with director Steve McQueen (2013), see the wide range of talent that has come to the Walker Cinema over the years—including Ang Lee, Wim Wenders, Béla Tarr, Isabella Rossellini, John Waters, and Joel and Ethan Coen—and hear what each of the 60 guests has contributed to filmmaking.

Walker Dialogues and Film Retrospectives were launched with support from the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation and sustained over the past 25 years with generous support from the Regis Foundation and Anita and Myron Kunin.
