Walker Open House Weekend

The Big Free Weekend

Experience the Walker in new ways as we open our doors for a long weekend of free gallery admission and special events you won’t want to miss—including Thursday’s Big Bash Open House Party and Free First Saturday! Check out our new main entrance, new restaurant, new art spaces, and the renovated Bentson Mediatheque. On Thursday at 6:30 pm, join the architects and Walker executive director Olga Viso for a conversation about the ideas that drove the project’s design and its integration with the larger campus transformation.

This event, led by the Walker artists-in-residence Chris Woebken and Elliott P. Montgomery, will help museum visitors invent new visions that will be part of an exhibition in June 2017. Read an interview with Extrapolation Factory here.
