Since opening in 1988, the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden has become one of the most popular cultural destinations in the Twin Cities and all of Minnesota. A joint project of the Minneapolis Park & Recreation Board and the Walker Art Center, it is one of the most visited urban sculpture parks in the country, drawing more than 325,000 people annually.
The Minneapolis Sculpture Garden is also renowned nationally and around the world, host to more than 8 million visitors over the past 25 years. This summer, as we celebrate the Garden’s 25th anniversary, we need your help to ensure that it continues to thrive.
More than two decades of year-round use and seasonal wear and tear have taken a toll on the Garden. The ongoing maintenance of the more than 45 works on view is supported entirely by donations to the Garden Fund. Now is a perfect time to show your commitment to the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden, and I invite you to join me in preserving these cherished works of art by making a fully tax-deductible gift to the Garden Fund today.
